Mr. Loper is the most recent addition to Prescott Legal and brings his knowledge of adoptions, criminal defense, and dispute resolution to the team. 

 

Mr. Loper is a second career lawyer and has been a practicing attorney in Florida since 2012. After receiving his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, Mr. Loper began his legal career serving Pinellas County, as an Assistant State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida. After five years of public service, he joined the law firm of Zinober Diana, P.A., practicing Civil Law, in the area of First-party Property & Casualty Defense.

Mr. Loper received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, with Advocacy Certificate of Concentration in 2011. As a student, Mr. Loper was an active member of the Student Bar Association and participated in internships at The Office of the State Attorney, for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida and The Office of the Attorney General, Children’s Legal Services. In his final year of Law School, Mr. Loper was employed as a Law Clerk for a Tampa based firm, where he gained valuable experience in the areas of negligence, bankruptcy, labor and employment, workers’ compensation, and personal injury.

Mr. Loper completed his undergraduate degree at The University of Alabama in 2001, where he received a Bachelor of Arts, major in English, and double minors in Philosophy and Psychology.

Outside of work, Mr. Loper is involved with animal rescue and often fosters dogs.
